Synopsis

Luther Jennings, the aging ranger who maintained the survey tower atop Strawberry Peak, felt the news like a physical blow: the tower was to be demolished, and with it, his livelihood. The prospect weighed heavily on him. A few days later, while taking his usual walk, he was attacked by a jaguar.
