Synopsis

In one of the series' most beloved animal stories, Lassie and an eagle form an unlikely alliance to safeguard a wounded mother owl. The owl had been injured by a possum attempting to pilfer her eggs. The eagle, after hatching the precious young, diligently feeds the owlets while the mother recuperates, and Lassie stands guard over their nest.
