Lassie — Season 1
In a heartwarming story that captured the nation’s imagination, *Lassie* debuted on CBS in September 1954. This beloved television series, brought to life by Robert Maxwell, follows the remarkable bond between a spirited rough collie named Lassie and her young companion, Jeffrey Miller. The first season unfolded over 26 episodes, concluding in March 1955, and later entered syndication as "Jeff's Collie" starting in 1958. To celebrate the series' 50th anniversary in 2004, a more extensive "50th Anniversary Collection" arrived, featuring 24 episodes and including three memorable tales from that groundbreaking first season: “Inheritance," "The Lion,” and "Lassie’s Pups.”
