Synopsis

The Clearing lies under the dominion of a merciless foe, who holds a cherished Survivor's life in the balance. Their demand is for an unlikely object, and failure to deliver will result in death. Gavin and Sam launch a rescue, their efforts bolstered by the return of a long-lost friend, whose reappearance stirs more uncertainty than resolution.
