Synopsis

Balgay intercepts Osman, while Böke, the Mongol commander who had revealed Sungurtekin’s treachery to the monks, seemingly allies himself with Balgay to secure the latter's safety. Yet, with the assistance of Göktug, disguised as Kongar, Osman manages to escape, though he is grievously wounded by arrows in the process.
