Synopsis

Initially assigned to the third-string basketball team at Teiko, Kuroko’s exceptional talent came to light through rigorous after-school practice sessions with Aomine. Akashi recognized him as the "Phantom Sixth Man." During a scrimmage against the second string, Kuroko demonstrated his abilities and earned a promotion to the first string. However, in a subsequent exhibition game as a starter, overwhelming nerves led to his immediate substitution. The coaches debated his continued placement, but
