What begins as an investigation into a killing gradually incorporates elements of sexuality, substance abuse, conflicts within families, love stories, intense situations, and political maneuvering. You'll find yourself puzzling over the mystery, attempting to solve it before the final explanation arrives. You might form an opinion or theory, just for a fresh piece of information to completely change your perspective. If possible, I strongly suggest watching the show in its original Punjabi language, especially if you understand it. The jokes, conversations, and genuine emotions present in many scenes are better conveyed in Punjabi than in Hindi. Even if none of the available languages work for you, it’s still worth experiencing with subtitles; the series is truly that enjoyable.
