Synopsis

At Yomogi Kindergarten, Kobato attempts to read aloud to the children, but her pronunciation is hesitant, and Fujimoto swiftly and unkindly points out her errors. Seeking practice, she finds herself at the park where she encounters the book's author. He is a man burdened by grief, his heart shattered by the loss of his girlfriend. Discovering that he has abandoned his passion for picture books, Kobato resolves to intervene.
