Synopsis

The classroom buzzed with the low hum of anticipation; it was oral report day in Kick's class. He’d chosen Dead Man Dave, a figure from his own imagination, as the focus of his presentation. The story he spun, of a quest to recover Dave’s lost skateboard, unfolded with dramatic flair. Yet, his classmates and even their teacher exchanged skeptical glances, the fantastical narrative met with a palpable wave of disbelief.
