Synopsis

A hollow feeling settled within her as she waited, the anticipation of a birthday dinner with Kevin fading into a dull ache of loneliness. When he didn't arrive, and the evening stretched on, a sense of isolation crept in. With no one else available to celebrate with, she found herself increasingly disheartened.
