Synopsis

Hyacinth arranged a picnic by the river, a prospect that filled her guests with dismay. Though Emett and the Vicar tried to convey their inability to attend, they found themselves unable to escape Hyacinth’s meticulously planned event. As invariably happened, Hyacinth's vision of flawless execution was undone when a construction vehicle deposited a heap of earth precisely where she had chosen to set up.
