Synopsis

The annual church hall bazaar was underway, and a wave of apprehension rippled through the congregation. Hyacinth, with characteristic enthusiasm, had volunteered Richard to undertake the task of repairing the hall's electrical system – a decision met with considerable dismay, given Richard’s utter lack of expertise in such matters. Simultaneously, Onslow, Daisy, and Rose arrived with a visitor who was under the mistaken impression he had returned from the war.
