Synopsis

During a medical shift, Kaiji encounters Hiromitsu Ishida, the son of his former creditor. Like Kaiji, Hiromitsu is working in the shadows to settle a debt, and harbors resentment towards his father for failing to assist him. Kaiji sharply rebukes Hiromitsu for his refusal to acknowledge his own limitations.
