Kaiji persisted, playing until the losing holes on even the third plate were sealed. Yet, Ichijō possessed a final advantage: air jets positioned around the winning hole, designed to deflect the balls' trajectory. In the quiet stillness, Kaiji discerned the sound of escaping air and understood Ichijō’s maneuver. As his balls dwindled, the Teiai security personnel, clad in black, arrived to escort him back underground. He suggested a draw to Ichijō, who refused, leaving Kaiji with no choice but t
