Synopsis

The future of Kaiji and the other debtors aboard the Espoir hinges on a game called "Restricted Rock Paper Scissors." After the rules are explained, Funai, the other borrower of ten million yen, approaches Kaiji. It becomes clear that Funai is a seasoned player, a repeater. He proposes an alliance, and Kaiji, unaware of the implications, agrees.
