Synopsis

In 1945, in the city of Dresden, Germany, Adolf and his elder sister encountered an artifact known as the Slate, an object said to bestow magical abilities. During a bombing raid, the sister perished, but Adolf survived, shielded by the Slate's power. Consumed by grief, Adolf fled Germany, taking the Slate with him aboard his airship, Himmelreich.
