I really enjoyed this series. Having come of age during public television’s early days—watching everything from _Sesame Street_ to _Cosmos_ and events at the Kennedy Center—this show has a special appeal for me. I always find it fascinating to observe how something originates and develops over time. "Julia" presents that process vividly, demonstrating the beginnings of WGBH alongside “The French Chef.” The actors were exceptionally well-chosen, and the sets and costumes accurately reflect the era. Sarah Lancashire embodies Julia Child’s essence while collaborating effectively with David Hyde Pierce and Bebe Neuwirth. I initially worried whether their dynamic from "Frasier" might negatively affect the show. Fortunately, that isn't the case. As someone who likes to watch shows in large chunks, I am usually eager for subsequent seasons. With “Julia,” though, I kept looking to see if a new season was available. It’s truly excellent.
