A peculiar shift occurred in the world's magnetic currents. The north pole, once a steadfast landmark, began to subtly alter. It wasn't a dramatic displacement, but a gradual, almost imperceptible change that rippled through the earth's systems. As a result, the region known as Porkbelly found itself drawn into a new prominence, its magnetic pull becoming the dominant force in the northern hemisphere.
