Synopsis

Escaping the Seneca Institute, a man is struck by a vehicle. Digger recognizes him instantly as Jay Dougan, his blood brother, while John sees Dougan’s face rendered in vivid color. Together, they journey to Northam, where the color drains from the dead man as John watches. The body’s teeth are present but lack enamel, and a tag-id is affixed to his tongue.
