Synopsis

A disquiet settled over the Ross children as an elderly doorman recounted a chilling tale from the building’s past. He spoke of a nanny who, on Halloween night, had done “something terrible” to the children in her charge, a legend that stirred a sense of unease. Separately, Jessie and Tony plotted a daring scheme: to infiltrate a high-society Halloween party. Jessie hoped to present her short story to a prominent editor she knew would be in attendance.
