Synopsis

Kurdy remains silent toward Jeremiah. Marcus dispatches Jeremiah and Libby – the only one familiar with the region – to a camp assembled by the St. Louis group. Libby returns with a report, and Kurdy leads the assault on the encampment. They liberate everyone held there, though the leader manages to escape eastward, seeking the enigmatic Daniel. Marcus leaves Jeremiah in command of both the camp and the adjacent village.
