Synopsis

Kurdy and Jeremiah journey to Denver, Jeremiah’s former home, for a visit to the library. There they encounter Edgar, the library's caretaker, and Kurdy decides to stay behind, offering his assistance in teaching Edgar to read and protecting him from those who believe books are inherently wicked.
