It’s no secret that Hanna Barbara productions weren't known for their high-quality animation; even the backgrounds in Scooby Doo seemed to repeat endlessly. So, it takes something special for the visuals to be noticeably worse than what came before. The low quality of the artwork is almost fitting, considering how little the characters look like their inspirations. The humor falls flat, and at times the show veers into political commentary—because apparently, another program aimed at children addressing those issues was really needed.
