Synopsis

Admiral Chegwidden launched an inquiry into the supposed suicide of his mentor, Admiral Clancy. The official story was that Clancy had shot himself during a hunting expedition with a group of companions. Chegwidden struggled to accept such an outcome for a man he considered a friend, and his investigation hinted at a more sinister truth: someone else might have been responsible for the fatal shot.
