Synopsis

Clive investigated the death of Laurie-Beth Spano, a contestant in the Miss Teen Seattle pageant. In 1999, during the competition, Laurie-Beth suffered anaphylactic shock and fell into a coma. At the time, police arrested Velma Charlet, a fellow competitor, for allegedly tampering with Laurie-Beth's makeup, a crime for which she received a four-year sentence.
