The series began with striking visuals and an engaging fantasy world established on a secluded island. Unfortunately, it didn’t maintain that momentum for long. While the fantastical aspects were initially captivating, they seemed to lose their impact after only two episodes; what followed felt repetitive and familiar. It was odd how much of the story's potential was exposed early on, which made subsequent installments feel hollow. The storyline involving the female protagonist as a teacher was introduced but proved inconsequential, disappearing after just one episode. The path the narrative ultimately took with the fantasy elements became quite unsatisfactory. Regarding the characters, the female lead generated awkwardness with her flippant behavior, particularly in her scenes alongside the male lead at the start. This appeared to be an attempt by the writing team to create a connection between them, but it was unsuccessful without substantial character revisions. The character of Goong Tan fared the worst, suffering from both poor writing and casting issues—the problems were obvious. Ultimately, the series devolved into a superficial collection of unoriginal concepts and forgettable characters.
