Synopsis

Portugal reels in the wake of the King’s prolonged absence, yet Isabel and Fernando remain deeply estranged, their paths diverging. Meanwhile, Rome exerts mounting pressure on Castile to institute the Inquisition. In Granada, the Emir’s sister, Aixa, consumed by envy, weaves a treacherous plot against him.
