Synopsis

In Segovia, a new bread tax ignites rebellion, and Isabel wrestles with the question of clemency towards the insurgents. Meanwhile, Chacón contemplates a life beyond service. Alone during her husband’s prolonged absence, Juana finds herself increasingly confined, seeking comfort in the presence of her stepson, the Prince of Portugal.
