Synopsis

A string of murders seems to orbit an old acquaintance of the Chief’s – a woman of advanced years and San Francisco's established wealth. As the killings become intertwined with her debutante ball and she displays troubling signs of mental decline, the evidence points inexorably toward her. Yet, as is his wont, the Chief seeks a different path to the truth.
