Synopsis

Peter Justin, a man known for his skill in acquiring fine jewels and a long-standing rival of the Chief’s, emerges from a five-year sentence in San Quentin and quickly resumes his familiar pursuits. His return is shadowed by a calculated frame-up: a protégé implicates him in a robbery and murder. The Chief must now clear Justin's name, even as he is certain that a recent crime bears the unmistakable mark of the thief’s hand.
