Synopsis

A series of deaths plaguing a convalescent home compels the Chief to assume the guise of a patient, immersing himself in the unsettling atmosphere. His children, Fran Belding and Ed, offer veiled pronouncements suggesting he would be better off absent from their lives. The truth quickly emerges: certain members of the staff view violence and murder as a regrettable but necessary aspect of their duties.
