Synopsis

During a robbery at a jewelry store, Ed is wounded. He is saved only by the intervention of a stranger, who disappears the moment law enforcement arrives. Later, it is revealed that this stranger is a soldier in desertion, driven by vengeance after the death of a comrade. Ed, upon learning this, resolves to clear the man's name of the accusations leveled against him.
