Synopsis

The Police Pension Fund’s accountant confessed to the murder of his secretary. Yet, the evidence painted a different picture entirely—one suggesting his impossibility of guilt, and instead implicating another party, while the accountant himself appeared to be a victim of alcohol-fueled delusions. Still, the Chief, as he always did, resisted the allure of the readily apparent.
