Synopsis

The longshot horses are beginning to triumph at the local track, and Ironside finds himself drawn into the unfolding mystery. He uncovers evidence of race-fixing, with a particular focus on Eve's former fiancé. A jockey, it seems, may hold the crucial, though perhaps unintentional, piece of the puzzle.
