Synopsis

Strange phone calls began to reach the Chief, each one a cryptic warning of a murder soon to be committed within San Francisco – a crime, it seemed, intended to serve some higher purpose. With scant details and no discernible way to identify the caller, Ironside painstakingly followed the threads of the case. Eventually, he traced the source back to a police officer dismissed from the force no less than fifteen years prior.
