Synopsis

The synagogue in town had been violated; a Torah scroll, the heart of the community, was missing. The congregation’s elder, a longtime acquaintance of the Chief, was deeply distressed. Ironside accepted the case, his resolve firm. The initial signs suggested vandalism, but he intended to uncover the truth – whether this was a senseless act of destruction or a calculated theft for profit.
