Synopsis

The arrest of a Black rights activist on a murder charge ignited a simmering anger within San Francisco’s Black community, threatening to erupt into widespread protest. Commissioner Randall urged the Chief to personally investigate the case, driven by a desire to demonstrate the activist's innocence; however, a palpable reluctance to cooperate permeated certain segments of the city's population.
