Synopsis

The college bore the recurring burden of false bomb threats, a nuisance that grated on the student body. The editor of the campus newspaper held a firm conviction: radical leftists were behind the pranks. But the fourth such alarm proved genuine, and the ensuing explosion claimed the life of a member of the bomb squad. With that, the Chief of Police began to consider a different line of inquiry.
