Synopsis

A string of audacious robberies had shaken San Francisco’s elite, and Eve Whitfield found herself unexpectedly drawn to one of the victims. Her burgeoning affection, however, was complicated by the fact that he stood as the Chief’s prime suspect. While her colleagues wrestled with the puzzle of the thief's identity, Eve found herself contemplating a different kind of resolution: perhaps it was time to leave the force and embrace a life of marriage.
