Synopsis

The officer’s descent was swift and brutal: he turned on his partner, firing upon him before offering himself to Chief Ironside. But surrender was not his intent. Instead, he seized the Chief and Mark as hostages, his mind already charting a course of escape, a grim certainty of death awaiting his captives. Ironside found himself with an impossible task – to convince the officer’s wife that the man she loved was irrevocably lost.
