Synopsis

With Sango departed to mend her fractured Hiraikotsu, Inuyasha and his companions encountered a grotesque demon tree and a reclusive sage named Tokajin. He sustained the tree with human sacrifices, hoping to cultivate a fruit promising immortality. The four were ensnared by Tokajin's machinations, a predicament compounded by the fact that it was the night of the new moon, the very night Inuyasha would revert to his human form.
