Synopsis

Sango recounts the hidden origin of the Shikon Jewel. It began with Midoriko, a priestess blessed with formidable spiritual strength. In the aftermath of a devastating battle, she was overwhelmed by demons, their essence merging with her own. Absorbing their souls, she extinguished her own, and perished. Now, her spirit resides within the jewel itself.
