Synopsis

Midway through an outing with Hojo, Kagome feels a pull, a familiar resonance drawing her back to the shrine. She senses the presence of the Shikon Jewel shards and is transported once more to feudal Japan. Naraku then recounts a tale from half a century past: Onigumo was once consumed by love for Kikyo. But his wickedness attracted demons, who in turn devoured him, birthing the demon known as Naraku.
