Synopsis

Inuyasha and his companions undertake a mission to cleanse a cursed sword, a task entrusted to them by Akitoki Hojo, an ancestor of the Hojo clan from Kagome's own time. Meanwhile, in present-day Japan, Kagome discovers that Hojo’s lineage includes an ancestor named Kagome who married Akitoki! The revelation leaves her questioning: does this imply a destined union across time, or is it simply a curious coincidence?
