Synopsis

News reached Inuyasha and his companions of the Band of Seven, a cohort of mercenaries brought to execution for their cruelty. When Kagome detected the presence of a sacred jewel shard, Sango departed on a solitary quest, ultimately locating her long-lost brother, Kohaku. Separately, Inuyasha encountered one of the Band of Seven: Jakotsu. The mercenary displayed unsettling behavior and wielded a peculiar sword, one that seemed to bend and twist, presenting a formidable challenge to Inuyasha.
