Synopsis

Despite growing up within a loving family, Joe has carried a lifelong sense of loneliness and isolation. As a boy, he found himself excluded by his classmates, and lacked the affection and acceptance he craved from his father. At the age of eight, he became familiar with what’s known as “the choking game,” a dangerous practice where someone restricts oxygen to the brain in pursuit of an altered state.
