Synopsis

Gloria, fifty-three years old, takes pride in her cooking and enjoys being known as a lively, independent woman. She employs both her culinary skills and her easygoing nature to persuade her family to overlook her drinking habits. Raising her children proved challenging, particularly given the abuse she suffered at the hands of her husband. At forty-two, Gloria was diagnosed with breast cancer and endured chemotherapy and radiation; even then, she continued to drink. Now, her alcohol consumption
