Synopsis

A shadow fell over Derek in his thirties, bringing with it a despair that led him to seek solace in alcohol as a way of managing the burdens of his life. Now, compounded by the loss of his wife, he grieves deeply and continues to drink, seeking oblivion within its depths. His family watches on with growing concern, particularly after a recent attempt on his own life; they see an intervention as their final recourse, their last chance to reach him.
