Synopsis

Constant teasing had eroded Asa’s confidence, leaving him deeply insecure about his weight, his heritage, and his sexuality. He developed bulimia and began using drugs and alcohol as a way to numb himself to difficult truths. A medical science student, Asa understands precisely how these addictions are damaging his body, yet he finds himself powerless to break free.
