Synopsis

Elizabeth's mother, struggling with depression and alcoholism, took her own life when Elizabeth was eight years old. Following this tragedy, she moved between various foster homes until her father resolved to raise her himself. During high school, overwhelmed by feelings of abandonment and loneliness, she began using alcohol as a means of escape.
